Authentic Taiwanese food at SUPER affordable prices! I just moved to NYC from Taiwan, and this has got to be my favorite Taiwanese spot so far. I bought 2 bentos for $7/each as part of the lunch special. One was the braised pork belly (pictured and the other was the stir-fried eggplant. A lot of places just dunk the pork in soy sauce, but at A-Pou, you can taste the depth of herbal flavors. Each bento also came with a side of bok choy, keeping it healthy andbalanced. Service was quick and friendly too. The store owner was trilingual, serving customers in Chinese, English, and Spanish. So happy I found this local spot! Will definitely become a regular here :
