My expectations were not met at this restaurant. It is not truly an Afghani restaurant as the food does not taste authentic. I apologize for being blunt in my comments.

There are many upscale dining options in Greenpoint, but this restaurant is not one of them. However, it is a fantastic choice for takeout that we thoroughly enjoyed. My son and I shared a gyro sandwich and a combo kebab platter, and he even tried to sneak bites of my gyro! We also ordered meat samosas, which were different from the Indian version but delicious, and a bulanee spinach dish that was new to me but reminded me of Spanakopita, only less flaky. As a bonus, they included two small rice puddings with our order. The portions were huge and we had plenty left over. We will definitely be returning.

The food at this restaurant is superb! The portions are generous and naan bread is always included. Delivery is quick and accurate. This place definitely deserves the highest rating.
