Battista - Brooklyn

We have not been there since the fire but went in yesterday to try their lunch menu which is a set price of 21.95. You get a choice of salad and a pasta and a main entree. The salad was great and the pasta, I ordered gnocchi in a tomato sauce and my husband had the alfredo pasta with chicken...out of this world!!! The pasta really filled us up as the plates were very nicely portioned. The entree I had the veal with mushrooms and hubby had the chicken with vegetables and I am really picky with veal but they got it down packed and the veal was fabulous as was the chicken. Great job Battista Ristorante we will be back and will spread the word about your delicious foods!!!!

Ok, so I don’t usually comment too much on places that I’ve been too for dinner but I felt this was something worthwhile!! I must say this was the best Italian food I’ve had since I went to Italy. From the ambiance to the service and to know the pasta was fresh home made as well as most of the menu...it was truly amazing!!! I was really sad to hear when they had their fire and was happy to hear they reopened. Absolutely an amazing dinner!!! My new favorite place!!

It's so wonderful that we can still enjoy Authentic Italian Cuisine in Brooklyn. Not only the food quality, friendly atmosphere is superb at the Battista.

Delectable food in generous portions served with a side of enthusiasm and a deep understanding of the menu; this would be enough to bring me back. Yet the wonderful mood lighting and vintage decor furthers the dining experience and creates an air of appreciation for the 'good old days. ' The plated food display gives clients a glimpse into the beauty of the food before ordering. Did I also mention the perfect froth on the cappucino? A true gem so close to home is a rare find indeed!

Omg everything was so good!! The margherita pizza and salad were excellent starters. Wine was paired well at the suggestion of the fabulous waitstaff and the meals were incredible. Skirt steak was extremely tender and so flavorful. My kids loved the pappardelle and it was fresh made. My sis had the fish and said it was phenomenal. Cheesecake and tartufo to end the meal we’re also superb. Staff was very attentive and the restaurant is beautiful! It’d make a fab date night! We can’t wait to go back!!
