We were told that food is made to share, but the part is not big. So we ordered 7 dishes to share in the end. Food was fantastic, it was the best after I tried some nice listings in Manhattan, but no smile welcomed us. One of our employees has accidentally spilled our wine, but has not apologized.
V nicely waited, I think his name was Alex. Eat well, great drinks, comfortable seating. Nied square
The food was excellent! I've been here a few times with my husband for brunch. Our server J.J. was great. We love the restaurant. It's definitely a must try.
The cocktails and wine have always been solid, but unfortunately the food menu has greatly declined. Our group was very disappointed with the new share menu . Prices are high for the quality and portion size. $12 brussel sprouts and $7 fries need to deliver, and they just don 't. They 're edible, but just about anywhere else in the neighborhood will serve a better version for a more reasonable price. I had one meat dish, the pork and it was small and just underwhelming. Don 't get me wrong, I am happy to pay fine dining prices for a fine dining experience, but the food has to be of fine dining caliber. Additionally, BKW used to be vegan friendly, but the new menu lacks a solid vegan meal option. To the servers ' and chef 's credit, they did try to offer adjustment options for the vegan in our group, but the substitutions were less than inspiring. The old menu had bountiful meal options for everyone and we were more than happy to pay a premium for a premium experience. We 'll probably be back for cocktails and wine, but we 'll pass on food unless the menu changes for the better.
