Lucy's Vietnamese - Brooklyn

Delicious authentic pho and banh mi. The brisket and chicken were both very tender.

This restaurant is better suited for takeout. I sat at the small table by the window and found the broth to be bland. They added bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedges without asking, which was a waste because I didn't eat any of it. The staff played loud music and sang along to Taylor Swift, which was a bit overwhelming. I would give it 3 stars for the large pieces of brisket, but I have had better Vietnamese food at more traditional pho restaurants. I recommend going to Chinatown instead.

The food is delicious, but the takeout bowls are subpar.

I have lost count of the number of times that their pho has saved me from catching a cold. lol

I have been ordering from Lucy’s for several years now. Recently, the quality has gone down a lot. The portions are shrinking; there are only a few dried looking basil leaves and half as many bean sprouts served with the Pho. The portion of noodles and protein have gotten smaller as well. Really disappointing, as I had been a loyal customer since Lucy’s quality and portions were exceptional. I will not be ordering from Lucy’s, unless they choose to address these issues.
