They do also have the original full on scrumptious sweets, like the sticky bun which I almost can't even describe. We go here often enough to speak to the consistency quality; our favorite is the regular BEC the Portuguese bun is so soft and holds everything in so well, I also am blown away each time by their Shakshuka. This time we had the carrot cake cookieand the Chocolate buckwheat, both were amazing in texture and flavor. I look forward to trying the halva brownie, and judging their black white as a seasoned authentic seeker. Of course all that said staff is always somewhat apathetic orfake.
Ordered eggs without the cheese/bread/no dairy. Eggs cooked in butter and was charged a dollar extra for arugula that was limp and much less of a meal than if it had been the original sandwhich. V confused why and couldn?t eat it bc it tasted gross.
$14 sandys and $7 iced lattes are overhyped based on quality. Nice to try but not a place to frequent regularly. Also, ordered 2 sandys and 2 drinks. Only rang up one drink so had to go back, getting back into line, and order second drink to go with second sandy.
I just got off a redeye flight and went to the closest place to my friend's place. I really enjoyed their bacon, egg, and cheese on bun which reminds of bread that I've seen in Lisbon. I wish I had more time to go the patio. Overall, it's a nice cozy place in Clinton Hill/Ft.Greene area.
Decent sandwiches, good drinks, and tasty, healthy premade dishes. Too expensive for what it is.
