Excellent Indian food, best in the area! Have been there several times ordering different types of food and I was never disappointed. Very attentive and nice servers.
Fantastic experience! The place is so quaint and authentic, the customer service was great and our food was well crafted and delicious! It was my first time trying Indian cuisine and i was not disappointed!
The vegan Impossible meat dishes are excellent they need to show them up more! I would not have found this place if I didnt happen to be hungry and passing by. At time of writing, the chefs special menu has all the vegan impossible items and I almost missed it.
I mostly avoid non-Vegan places especially in large cities with so many vegan options. However since there seem to be no fully vegan Indian restaurants in NYC, I made an exception. Had the aloo gobi. Rice and bread portions were good size but the aloo gobi itself could be a bit bigger. Everything tasted fresh. There’s a clean bathroom. Staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable about what’s vegan. Prices are decent and there’s a separate section of the menu with the vegan items. I’ll probably come back to try more things at some point whenever I’m craving Indian food. I can’t speak to the authenticity of the food since I’m not Indian and have never been to India, but it was good enough for me. I don’t rate non-vegan restaurants 5 stars anymore, otherwise it would have gotten 5.
