Great service of gary, beautiful atmosphere and perfect eating! we had the garlic pans with rice, porterhouse steak and loaded fret. all were made excellent. porterhouse had a really nice flame sear on it, along with the usual pub style maische and peppermint sauce. loaded pommes had beautiful taste bombs from the speck and were not too fat; although some jalapenos on it they would have dried to heavenly perfection. Knock garnelen had a perfect bite and a beautiful saw that the children loved.

They enjoy the delicious barra and salat, a great service, but...the smoke of the smokers outside came in open doors of tavern and was very annoying. it spoils the ambiente.

I recently visited the Taurus-Kreek-Tverne with my two daughters in the age of 4 and 1. they served large pub food for a reasonable price. the staff was friendly and courteous and the beer tasted fantastic! I'm back!

I was in the tavern and service and eating is always good. today's food and service are however very disappointing. because there are many customers in the tavern, I understand that the service is getting slow. but when the food is served, what served us was burned steaks. I understand that there will be some carbonized regions on the steak, as it was grilled, but all steaks (except those on the left side) are very carbonized. my steak, the top left, is so charred that everything I cost is coal. Went there for lunch and ordered the garlic prawns and I'd have to say it was simply the worst Garlic Prawns dish I've ever had in Perth. Had to wait 15-20 mins for a pathetic looking dish that comprised of undercooked rice that was simply chucked onto a plate alongside an underwhelming amount of prawns. The sauce was alright but they had also completely missed out on the garlic bread that was to be served with the dish as well. Even after enquiring with the same waitress, who didn't seem to have a great attitude, twice about the missing garlic bread, I still didn't receive an answer as to whether I was even supposed to get garlic bread.
