Latin Cafe - Caen

My friends and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant we sat upstairs and I don’t advice you to be upstairs. Took like 30 minutes to get the menu and no water while waiting. After an hour of waiting, we ordered some beers and the waiter didn’t known what she brought and we realized that the order was wrong afterwards. At this stage, we were still waiting for the menu and the water were still not served for my friend who doesn’t drink alcohol. After an hour and half one of my friend decided to come downstairs to get the menu, as we waited longtime we decided to order some burgers hoping that the food will be ready faster. Took pretty much an other hour and half to get the food ready and again the waiter brought the plate without any knowledge and didn’t follow anything of our order specially how we would like to get our steaks to be cooked. An other disappointed as the waiter asked all of us how we like the meat to be cooked, all of us asked for rare, all patties came over cooked, the worst part was the fries they were uncooked !!! We ate the burgers in 5min and left the place very fed up. The staff never apologized during the all time we sat there never brought back some extra water and brought the sauce once we were almost done. Upstairs decoration never feel like a restaurant but more like stripclub to be honest the light is weird, inconfortable feeling ! Everything of overpriced specially for what we got and the restaurant weren’t very busy this day. Must be a nightmare when he is busy ! I don’t get how this place got some good reviews. We recommend this place if you are ready to wait 3 hours to get a burgers. Go to l’atelier du burger instead or even Burger King will be better option. I wish the last one was a joke but no. Run a way from this place !!! I didn’t know French chef could cook that bad

New decor. Nice welcome. To be seen in the duration but it is a very good start.

Very well received on Sunday noon. The formula no burger super. Bearnese is so good that we'd like a little more.

In this establishment, you can drink a glass in a terrace quietly, without being harassed every twenty minutes by servers that come to grow to consumption, as is unfortunately the case for two breweries of the nearby church street. It's very appreciable, the customer is respected and not sloppy: so I strongly recommend the brewery to the great men.
