We were a walk to dinner on a Monday evening after visiting the films close to, but I had read some reviews about the place and was looking forward to the meal. we were very disappointed and I wish we had decided to go somewhere else. we shared a escape between two of us arancini balls.) they were pretty good. but when the waitress made clear our teller, she told us that we should keep our best, and we could also “have the teller for the next cure if we wanted”. I don't think I've ever been in a restaurant that expected me to use dirty cutlery and teller for my next plate again. we refused and asked for clean teller and cute. my companion had the wild boar ragu $32,) I had the lamb-snell special $38.) we also ordered an insalata caprese. all were pretty bland. I asked for salt and pfeffer, some salt and pfeffer spreader seen on a few other tables.) we received salt and pfeffer in small takeaway packages because all their salt and pfeffer spreaders were used for the time. we looked around and saw two tables with them. I cannot believe that a restaurant has only two sets for the entire restaurant. I had also ordered a glass taittinger champagner, it didn't taste like French champagne me and I drink it reasonably regular) and I asked the waiter about whether he was sure this was the taittinger, but was told Adamant that he had just opened a new bottle in person. but when he came to clear my empty glass, he asked me if I was finished with the prosecco. we have not finished our meal, because they were really not enjoyable, and we went somewhere else. I was disappointed because I had read decent reviews about the place. Maybe they have another cook on a Monday night. but I can't apologize for having to reuse my cutlery and teller that are just rough. I would not recommend this restaurant, nor would I ever eat there again.
We are from Western Australia, visit canberra we at bicicletta when we had a great meal there 2 years ago when we were in canberra. this culinary experience was not disappointed. the service was great, fast, courtesy and efficient. the meals were amazing, not only...a reasonable size served, but extremely tasty, a real joy. an unforgettable culinary experience, we will return.
We loved bicicletta at visit before covid. but something has changed. the atmosphere still beautiful, but the menu wasn't quite as exciting, and while eating was reasonably good, it wasn't exeptional as it was earlier. service a bit of our net. were brought out before our escapes were served so that the netzen were placed under heat lamps to keep warm (which unfortunately also stained them a little. the staff seemed to forget about the net, no one offers dessert from coffee, we had to get up and ask some. there was even a suggestion that we might not have a coffee because the machine was turned off. thank you for being turned around.
Popped into this place randomly while staying at hotel nearby. It wasn’t really signed as far as I could see, but I’m glad I came across it. I think it was the manager who welcomed me and found a spare table on a busy night...in the bar area. It was great. I had beer, lasagna and apple cake. All was really tasty. The staff were attentive at all times despite being busy. I would definitely recommend, and may well return
