La Grilla - CANLEY HEIGHTS

My partner and I ordered through UberEats on the night of 1/3/24 all excited but was smacked with greatest disappointment and disgust as our snow chicken that we ordered were all UNDERCOOKED!!! It was I who discovered that the chicken that we ordered were raw as I took a big bite and realised that the texture was not right and upon looking at what I was eating, all I saw was the colour pink!!! I almost gagged and was very disturbed We decided to cut all of the chicken in half, and to our surprise, it wasn’t just one of the chicken pieces but ALL OF THE CHICKEN INSIDE THE BOX WERE PINK IN THE CENTRE!!! This restaurant should hire real cooks that knows how to cook chicken and not give salmonella to their customers!!! Another dish that we did not enjoy was their black bean noodles. The noodles were hard and was stuck together making it very difficult to mix the black bean sauce with it. We ended up not eating the noodles as well as it felt like we were chewing hard rubber. Overall, my partner and I were very disappointed and upset with our unfortunate experience with this restaurant. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!!! Ordered take away for Valentine’s day. Staff are always warm and welcoming, and always ensure that there’s no miscommunication. ordered one of their KBBQ sets, and noticed that they also sell miniature grills as well! i had a grill at home, but i was still quite interested (and it’s quite considerate given that they sell the kbbq sets) quality of food was very nice considering that i’ve been to a lot more expensive KBBQ places. We come here on a regular basis, the food is authentic, wholesome and delicious. You won't feel sick afterwards from grease or over use of msg. The owner is super nice and friendly. Its run by mother and daughter, and you can tell they have put a lot of love/passion into making their food. Love this place!
