The Acai bowl did not meet my high expectations, as I watched the worker use an ice machine to create a gray, mushy blueberry mixture. The banana slicer also malfunctioned, making the process even slower. The lack of peanut butter, which I usually enjoy with my Acai bowls, was a disappointment. Instead, I was served a runny almond butter that did not enhance the flavor. Overall, this was the worst Acai dish I have ever had, and I do not recommend it.
The restaurant closed earlier than expected. I arrived at 8:30 and the place was already closed, which was disappointing as I was unable to get my juices. This completely ruined my plans for the day as I had been looking forward to cleansing for 3 days. After 5 years of being a customer, this isn't the first time this has happened, so I may need to start looking for a new juice place.
I went to this restaurant expecting high-end juice, but was disappointed to learn that none of it is organic and it comes in plastic bottles. I tried asking the person on the phone if any products were from small farms or had organic practices, but they had no idea. I hope the bottles are at least plant-based and biodegradable. Despite being better than some juice spots, I didn't find anything particularly unique about this place. I may change my review if I hear more. It's a step up from chain juice stores, but still lacking compared to high-end spots in California that use glass and organic ingredients. I asked why the juice was considered high-end and was told it's produced in a factory in Fresno. The staff was nice and polite, which is a plus. I hope they consider switching to glass bottles, starting a recycling program, and offering organic options in the future. Happy holidays!
Loved how it was so healthy, yet so delicious. Highly recommend to anyone with dairy tolerance who is looking for a sweet treat every once and awhile.
Love Pressed. The membership is so worth it. $5 juices and OMG the freezes. Don't get me started. Sooooo good.
