Banyan Tree Grill Fairmont El San Juan

The service was terrible. We waited for over an hour without being served, while other customers around us were being seated and served promptly.

We went to the restaurant, but it seemed like the bar had closed for the day. A coworker tried to find someone to serve us, but unfortunately had no luck. We tried going to the bar again, but still no one was there to assist us. In the end, we decided to eat at the bar in our own hotel.

Ran out of food. Closed early. Ignored our resy. Disaster.

We should up at 8:05 for an 8:15 reservation . After wandering around trying to find the grill area and being directed twice incorrectly we finally found a bartender who told us there were no tables for 5 available. We also were told food was very slow and it would be about 10pm before we could get food but we could order room service. Waste of our time .

1 hour and thirty minutes to be served two burnt hamburgers not even the ones we ordered from the menu. The ironic thing was the hummus came out 20 minutes after the burgers. Absolutely horrible. I have been to two Fairmont properties in less then a month and the food in scotsdale and Puerto Rico is one step below dog food.
