Venable Rotisserie Bistro - Carrboro

We decided to eat outside, and they have several tables under an open tent. When the sun went down, light strands arrived and added to the ambience. I kept it easy because I wanted room for dessert, so I got bread and butter to start. The butter was soft and spread, and the bread was delicious. Then I got the genomes, which was essentially a caprese salad, with mozzarella, basil, olive oil and balsamikum. I would have preferred some thicker tomato slices, but that's just my preference. I chose the green tea cream glasses for dessert, and it was great. The sugar bowl was thick but not too thick, just like a foil to the incredibly smooth and creamy Custard underneath.

Venable is a place I have visited regularly in recent years. I often like their waffles or Huevos rancheros. It's never a disappointment to eat there. For college students special, This is definitely a place I recommend saving ~35$ (I have included that 15-20% tip) and arrive for brunch. Do not come too late because it can quickly pack on weekends! Treat yourself and friends!

My wife and I really like this place. The menu is creative and the soups are excellent. Excellent bar staff. There is a strange thing when you call the restaurant where the recording is long, and says that when there is an emergency stay on the line and a live person will respond.

Delicious food! I had the Banh mi and the soup of the day. One of the most refreshing and unique Banh mi?s I had. Appropriate price for size. The server was very nice. Fast service. Clean restaurant. There was another server that seemed very unhappy. The atmosphere in the interior was meh.

One of our favorite places in the area. Consistently great food and rotating menu items. Brunch and dinner here are a reasonable price and you will not be disappointed. Every time we go we have a great meal.
