Zesto - Chapin

As soon as you step into Zestos, you're transported back to the late '40s or '50s. The food is fantastic, but make sure you don’t skip out on the ice cream—it's a delightful treat for everyone!

I placed a phone order, expecting it to be ready upon my arrival. The person who took my order estimated it would take about 10 minutes. However, when I arrived and paid, I discovered that they hadn't even begun preparing my order! The staff members appeared more focused on socializing with one another than on their work. I really hope my next visit goes better than this.

As usual, the chocolate ice cream machine was out of order. It seems like there's always an issue. However, the staff members are consistently nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I frequently hear things like: "We're out of chocolate," "We can't offer a twist, but we can put vanilla with chocolate on top," or "Our vanilla machine is making the ice cream too soft, so you'll need to have a cup instead of a cone." I’m not exaggerating—this is all true.

Best chili dogs ever! Fried chicken too. Fast and always very friendly service. Chapin is lucky to have one

Unbelievable chicken at Zestos. I came from a 8 hour drive, middle of the night, looking for something quick and easy to eat. I was so surprised by the friendly staff, the smiling faces, and the UNBELIEVABLY good chicken. Apparently there's a salt brinemagic formula they use .. I don't know, I just know it's magic and it makes the chicken taste great. Check them out. Zestos inChapin SC. You can't go wrong.
