Menzies Steakhouse - CHARLEVILLE

I went with my boyfriend to eat at 6pm, was told this was the time it opened so was a little worried of potential lack of atmosphere/slow service. Was pleasantly surprised, excellent service and atmosphere was lovely. Food was great. Would definitely return.

Service was professional, friendly and prompt. Restaurant was set up like a wedding - made me feel important. (Just needed to turn down the lights and add a candle to top it off). Prices were very reasonable - with a large selection of meals. Food was delicious - could not fault the fillet minong; chips hot & crisp; veges hot & crunchy; and salad fresh - perfect. Salmon was slightly undercooked though. Only fault (which was mine) I ordered house wine - was disappointed in receiving 'bowlers run'. I should have checked menu for the other brands. Oh well - next time.

Staff were lovely, huge generous portions, amazing steaks, great variety in food. Definitely worth heading through town for this dinner!

Had the 200g eye filet medium to rare with salad, pepper sauce and fries. Steak was served as ordered. Fries okay. About average. Salad was large and big enough for 2. Good service and pleasant experience.

One of the best steaks I've ever had! Staff were unreal-really courteous and very thoughtful, especially with our kids!
