I'd go back to an prise, but I'm not worried to come back. we had berries over at night. the cup looked small, but it was very full and the quality of the earthy was excellent. I was less impressed by the chocolate croissant. it had both chocolate and a fruity filling that had good taste, but the croissant itself was strange. it was missing the crispy, laminated layers that I longed in a croissant. I'm not sure what happened there, but it was pretty disappointing. on the plus side my icey Dekaf-Latte was pretty good. all in all, it was a decent breakfast, but especially for the heel flakes. I always expect the pastries of the star of show in a French bakery, but that was not the case for our visit.
The owners have put a great deal of creativity and care into both the design and the execution of this delightful café. It was a perfect place for a late morning snack the tartine with fig, bacon, and Brie. The Brie was melted just right over a generously buttered baguette perfect with a latte.I would recommend taking the time to really enjoy the art and atmosphere this is not a place to rush through.
Amazing pastries and their sandwiches are great as well. There often times is a line to get in but well worth the wait!
Amelie's was delicious! So many options and I wanted one of everything. I will definitely be going b m!
Had awesome roast beef on Sourdough au jus. Very good. Love the atmosphere. Great spot for a date or just to do something to treat yourself.
