New South Kitchen - Charlotte

The manager and entire service team at New South Kitchen and Bar are amazing. We had the most amazing experience here and highly recommend it for dinner and drinks.

New South is a hidden gem in Arboretum. The food is consistently good and the seasonal menu changes to highlight fresh ingredients. We’ve had a birthday dinner here but usually stop in for lunch. Our favorites are the Fried Chicken, NC Trout and Shrimp Grits. Service is friendly and the restaurant dining room and bar is pretty cool as well. Parking is alway easy in Arbo so no worries there. If you’re in the area stop into New South. It’s worth the trip.

Wow! If you haven’t been here before, you should. Southern cooking at its absolute best! Fresh, healthy, tasty, quality ingredients and great service!!!

Great food, excellent service like always. Try chocolate mousse cake! It is something!

We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and enjoyed it very much. One of my sides was macaroni and cheese ... and it tasted wonderful, but there wasn't much of it bummer. Definitely a place I would recommend due to their excellent food and great service.
