Whisky River - Charlotte

That was a nice restaurant. service was super fast and the burger was amazing. price was what they expect in an airport. paid $40 for the burger, pommes and 2 beer.

Excellent stop if you have a long layover in Charlotte. Food is definitely worth the price, done as requested and efficiently, had live music at dinner. The staff was very nice, welcoming and this is a huge plus as everywhere you go there is a shortage of staff. Most importantly the booze selection is on point, they have draft beers, a reasonable wine selection for the classier people, full bar for those needing more R&R. Really from start to finish was an awesome experience. Lastly, their ordering system is excellent using a bar code specific to your table/seat. Got the order in and beer food came out quick and easy.

Breakfast food exceeded my expectations. Very good. Skip the **** Mary- not good.

Excellent food. The dirty tots were amazing. I highly recommend them. The service wasn't the friendliest but it was fast.our food and drinks arrived quickly. Next time I'm at this airport I am coming back here to eat.

Sometimes things happen for a reason. We missed our connecting flight out of CLT and I believe the reason was so we eat here at Whiskey River. The AA staff at the gate recommended this place. We had just enough time before our new flight left so we thought we'd try it out. The restaurant was busy and it seemed there wasn't enough staff. At least there was no real host. We had to wait a while before we were acknowledged but as soon as we were seated service was quick and efficient. We decided to go just with appetizers. We got the whiskey wings, dirty tots, and grilled chicken quesadillas. All were hits, especially the dirty tots. Those were excellent. I washed the food down with a Wicked Weeds Pernicious IPA.
