Friendly's - Chicopee

I love a good family restaurant, and they're getting harder to find these days. This Friendly's location offers an old-fashioned, unpretentious restaurant experience. They have a menu that's heavy on old-time comfort food, but with a few interesting twists. (I had an excellent quesadilla with steak and caramelized onions. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. It's definitely not cheap, but the prices weren't outrageous either.

7/2/22Warning all customers Unethical Pricing Practices Buyer Beware incorrect menu prices in drive through and they do not honor the posted prices!The prices that they were going to charge me were at least 12% higher than the posted prices. I brought it up with the drive through employee and he just shrugged it off as if it didn't matter.It matters. It's about trust, brand name, and customer loyalty.This is not only unethical by surprising customers with higher bills than anticipated but it is likely illegal and against Massachusetts General Law, Part I, Title XV, Chapter 94, Section 184CI will be contacting corporate, I will be reporting this restaurant infraction to whatever regulating body takes care of this in MA, and I will be getting a hold of the BBB. This needs to get corrected asap.

We are here visiting a few colleges and soon as I saw that Friendly's across the street from our hotel I said I will definitely be going over there to get me a Reese's Pieces sundae! I miss it so much. They use to have one in Dayton really close to our house and as a family we would go up there for dessert! I have not been to a Friendly's in sooooo many years. The sundae and the service was perfect! This made my day, I was so happy!?

The dining experience was not great. The salad was old and browning, the pepper and black bean quesadilla dish was also old, and the rice was overcooked. It was just okay and not as good as usual. On the bright side, the restaurant is accessible with ramps and tables suitable for wheelchairs.
