The garden out in the back is a chill space, good for hanging out with others. Inside is good for doing work. If you order food, they give you a buzzer and you’ll come up and pick it up when it buzzes. Didn’t order drinks so I don’t know how those are, but looking at others they look like they’d also taste good.
The place was very cute. Had a lot of seating but also like items for sale. The staff was nice but they were very good about answering questions. Seemed to be a language barrier so not anyone fault. I will say the place had a lot of flies so that was not the vibe. Had the hojicha latte and the chicken nan bam box and salmon one. It cames with salad, rice, and two sides (Brussels sprout and radishes). Like most of it? Wish the pieces for the chicken was smaller pieces so it was easier to eat but overall good flavors! Was full for most of the day after it.
Casual, aesthetic vibe for Japanese bentos but wouldn't come back. $21-26ish before tax/tip is just steep for the amount of food you get, especially for middle-of-the-road quality food that you have to wait in line to order from the counter. The line was out the door for a Saturday lunch so be prepared for a wait if it's a popular time.
I stopped by for a morning chai latte and croissant in Greenpoint and Acre didn't disappoint. I liked the variety of options for pastries and my chai latte had a good spicy kick to it. I also liked the little shopping area in the entrance and also how there was a lot of space to sit if you wanted to work or read a book while you ate/drank your beverages.
Love this place! If you find yourself in Brooklyn they have The Most delicious Japanese bento boxes! All the ingredients are so fresh the juices and pastries are delicious as well! You can also pick up soap, lotion, yuzu spread, and lots of hand made/local ceramics
