If you're like me and aren't a fan of burritos with rice but crave something more exciting, the addition of tortilla chips for a satisfying crunch is simply perfect. I tried the pork Al pastor burrito, and it was packed to the brim with flavorful, well-seasoned meat, refried beans, lettuce, cheese, and just the right amount of tortilla chips—not too many!—and possibly some sour cream. The price is comparable to other options in San Francisco, around $14.22 for this particular burrito. It has now become my second favorite burrito in the Bay Area, just behind the carnitas super burrito at La Taqueria and ahead of the prawn burrito (not the camerones) at Papalote. Since I'm frequently in Daly City for Target, Costco, and Home Depot, this will definitely be a new favorite spot for me.
After moving into a new apartment, I decided to stop by Home Depot and was pleasantly surprised by Kelly's Deli, which caught my eye—like the enticing food courts at IKEA or Costco. Kelly's Deli is a straightforward food stand located right at the entrance of Home Depot, offering a diverse selection of food. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and a side of fries, and honestly, I think the food here outshines what you would find in those big box stores. Even the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, making it hard to resist munching on them before diving into the hefty, satisfying Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu offerings!
Convenient and quick service! We absolutely love the steak fries here—so delicious! They always satisfy our cravings and are quite filling.
I was shopping at Home Depot and realized I hadn't eaten all day, so I decided to finally try this stand. I ordered the Al Pastor Crunch Burrito, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my food arrived, which was fantastic since I was really hungry! I particularly appreciated the addition of tortilla chips inside the burrito. They stayed crisp and didn't get soggy at all, adding a nice crunch to each bite. Aside from that, it’s a solid, straightforward burrito. However, it was definitely those tortilla chips that earned it the fourth star. I really enjoyed the change in texture!
I've been to this Home Depot countless times, but never on an empty stomach—until today. After my husband needed to stop here at 3 PM following my 10-mile mountain run, we decided to give the restaurant a try, and wow, it was incredible! I highly recommend the steak taco plate; the beef was slightly crispy and bursting with flavor. The side of rice was perfect, and I also added a steak fajita taco, which was just as delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of it! My husband opted for the Polish dog, which was beautifully dressed and grilled to perfection. I don't know if it's the long run and my delayed lunch that made me feel this way, but I think I just found one of my new favorite taco spots. Coming from San Francisco, I must admit, our tacos can be a bit overrated compared to what Kelly's has to offer. While he’s left me here still devouring tacos, I'm enjoying this delightful break from my usual Home Depot wandering.
