Le Malt Lounge - Colonia

We had an evening in le. Thursdays are live jazz nights and there was a live 4 pieces jazz band that was very good. melanie, the singer, was beautiful. very talented and a very sweet person. she held on our table to thank us for coming. eating was also very good. we have the vulture of the teufels and the lobster bisque and both were great. there is a mandatory coat control that was surprising, but was not a problem because they quickly pick up our weights. a very pleasant evening and we look forward to the return.

Food and service were excellent! the pat lafrieda prime ny strip with truffle butter was one of the best steaks I ever had. not the best value, it is expensive, but very good. ambiente decoration is very chic cool.

Tried Le Malt after hearing they made decent cocktails. Started with an Old Fashioned... overall, it was fine, but nothing remarkable. As silly as it seems, the choice of the cherry in an Old Fashioned makes a big difference, and when I saw it was a maraschino, instead of a Luxardo or Bourdeaux, I already knew the drink would be so-so. The vibe here is definitely geared to a younger crowd who likes to look like they're throwing money around, and taking hella Instagram photos.

Brought my best friend as a Christmas gift. Lobster bisque salty an lobster overcooked. Didn 't not have fried cheesecake..her favorite. We just ended up eating lollipop lamb chops which was great. We had a old fashion a piece. Came to approx $200. The ambience was great. I will never go back.

My friends and I had a great time at Le Malt. The ambiance, food and service was great! We expect to return in the very near future.
