The descriptions on the menu really beef it up, but what I got was slightly underwhelming. For example, there were a bunch of toppings listed under the taco options that I thought I was going to get with the taco, but I didn't actually get them (?) Maybe I misunderstood the menu.I would recommend this place for a quick lunch solo or with a small group, as it's not really a sit-down meal kind of place. I would go again only for convenience, not because I liked the food.
After passing it by & opting for other options in the area... i finally decided to give this place a shot. Since then, Tacoreano is fast becoming a go-to favorite & the TACO HAPPY HOUR THING ?? hello! The menu offers a good fusion choice. The food is tasty & GREAT VALUE. Today I enjoyed the tuna taco... which I highly recommend on a hot day. (Heat wave here right now) The tuna was as cold as it can be without being frozen... it was a solid choice. LOVE the MUSIC & relaxed atmosphere making it the perfect quick cheap-eats.The staff are on the ball, keeping things clean & cooking up some tasty tacos! The location is pretty much stumbling distance to where we live... SO... we'll be back soon!
This restaurant in Coquitlam is definitely one of the more intriguing places to dine. I have sampled the tacos (beef and tuna), rice bowls (beef and tuna), and the brownie.
After getting sick the second time I ate there, I had to lower my rating from my initial review. Proceed with caution if you decide to dine here. I won't be going back.
I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the Korean-style tacos at Tacoreano were. They are definitely doing a lot of things right.
