Philip Island Bakery - Cowes

Some of the employees are very rude as they speak to customers. they all need a comprehensive training for customer service and the job they do. very unorganized. they must have a person who is quick and knows what they do coffee. So, very slow. the food and the quality above all under average....so disappointing. great position, but this is all.

The cakes arrived and were ok, but we had finished eating when the coffee arrived. more on the saucer than in the cup! Luckily we asked for the free donuts that were not provided .. not really free because we. pay 50 cent extra for each coffee cup, because we "in the house" will not be back.

We tried cake there, they are not bad, but not worth the price, better place to a cheaper price

Had a chicken and mushroom cake that had no taste. sauce in the cake was gloopy and had after taste. barely any mushrooms and not know what kind of huh was there, it was like a fake huh product that should look like huh, but had no taste and definitiw was not huh. will not go back. Vanilla disc was good

I'm still searching for the best pie in the world (plus sausage roll! and gave PI Bakery another try. We actually had breakfast there two days in a row as on Sunday morning Cowes did not open early , everyone had a sleep in ...the bakery was the only choice early! Now the Pies were great, good variety, nice crust hit the spot. Sadly the sausage roll was pretty bland let the team down, needs a spicy top I think? Very busy spot and not a bad coffee to be had as well and friendly staff tops it off. I know I'll be back next time in PI!
