This cafe definitely has an interesting vibe to it! One can only describe such as a fairy tale feeling. And whilst the cafe is often overlooked, food is decent.

Cool old fashion decor with very comfortable little cafe.....feels like grandparents house. California toasted focaccia $11 Beef burger $15 Scones and flat white. Pls come and experience yourself.

This quaint cafe provides excellent service and good food at reasonable prices (compared to UWA cafes). I've eaten here many times and all visits have been pleasant.

Arrived for breakfast at around 10am on a Friday morning, friendly greeting. We were there for about an hour and no other customers apart from a walk in for takeaway coffee. We waited ages for our meals to arrive which was a bit weird given no other customers. A good quantity however my eggs were cold. Decor is fantastic but overall not impressed.

Lovely greeting when I arrived and then no one was visible till my order finally arrived. The food is a bit like the decor - dated, many food items even wrapped in plastic in the display. Two customers at midday. Hmmm This cafe used to be packed when Heather Hutchinson, the original owner, ran it years ago. My take-away pumpkin soup was delicious, and the chicken and avocado sandwich was fresh but had an overpowering salty dressing and no avocado. Given its location near the river and UWA, the cafe should be packed.
