Caraway - Crete

Was really busy at noon. The food was good. Husband had Irish wrap and loved it. I got French toast and enjoyed it. If we're ever back in town, it'll be over again.

Sat ourselves down at a booth, menus were already on the table. It was pleasant environment look wise, but maybe they should invest in a fly swatter..Had to fight them off the entire time we ate. Otherwise the service was quick and to the point. Food came out fast. I did not care for what I ordered, but the prices were reasonable. They had ham and bean soup today which was a tasteless mess. As well as my burger, seemed they added no seasoning within the meat and the onions were sautéed to no degree. Also ordered medium rare, was rather the opposite. The fries were crispy which could be pleasant to some. The breakfast meal was totally reasonable at $4.00. I give it 4 stars mostly for the cozy enviroment and quick service. Food might be better on other days... might give it another chance.

Caraway Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch! It is a convenient location and they have a good variety of options. I've always eaten breakfast when I'm there because it is my favorite meal! Prices are great, too! I've been eating skillets mostly and I'm always more than satisfied, which is why I keep going back. They also offer carryout if you're looking for a fast food alternative for lunch.

Our party of 3 stopped by this little breakfast/lunch cafe for a quick bite to eat while in Crete. We ordered a beef philly, a chicken philly, and a skillet. The sandwiches were accompanied by great crunchy fries...yum. The skillet was good and accompanied by a giant pancake that covered the plate. This restaurant knows how to do sides! The service was friendly but the kitchen was a bit slow turning out the food on a day that wasn't too busy. We would definitely stop by again when in the area.

Cozy local restaurant with an enormous flavor. The staff is friendly and inviting, and the food is fantastic. Everything is homemade! Don’t miss the Beef Barley soup. The fries are unbeatable, and the burgers are juicy and flavorful. This has quickly become my new favorite spot!
