Culver's - Crystal Lake

We have for a fundraiser for West Elementary (Go Wildcats! and it was really very nice. The staff were happy and joking. The food was better than I had in the past of Culver's. And the restaurant was very clean. Maybe the bins were overcrowded, making our table harder at the end. But that seems like a little concern and has not hurt our experience.

Very nice atmosphere, music and food. Your North Atlantic Cod Dinner w/fries and coleslaw is my favorite. Fish tastes so fresh and the herb is not too sweet or sour. But her double butterburger w/cheese and roasted onions is another fav. If you get a single, you will be disappointed. It's too thin. I like their burgers b/c They don't get this funny aftertaste with their burgers. While I usually like salads and tomatoes on my burgers, her salad is terrible - could definitely take pointers from Portillo on them. And do not expect customer service as in Chick-Fil-A. Numerous servers passed and never offered, our tray, Lol, including the one that brought our Custard desserts. It's from 14, but not far from Jameson's street.

Culver’s is not good to eat in any way, but I had many bad expensive meals in fine restaurants. If a fast food is better than a $40 steak they do something wrong. From all Fast Foods Culver is where I go when I need a quick meal. I tried their fish and chips and it was better than any pub or restaurants that have their Friday fish specialities.

Food is always good. I have some favorites and they have never failed to satisfy. If you eat, I wish they would give you napkins when they bring your food. I suppose they expect you to get napkins when you get your drink or ketchup, but we ordered malt they brought with the food. Then I had to get the napkins.

Nice people working here. Looks like they had some younger high schoolers there at the time I went there, they were very nice albeit nervous. Clean, no issues. It's a Culver's!
