I had her 5-kily salsa (very mild heat,) with avocado, arrachera (perfect grilled rock steak,) and Oaxacan cheese....and my wife had the salsa verde, rührei, Oaxacan cheese and avocado. both use shaved over our own, then tried to get together and shaved! the ambiente is incredible, with a lot of live musicians playing for tips. it was a 50-minute waiting time at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, so if they go at the weekend, make either reservations (on their website) or on the list, then go to parque mexiko to foot to kill time. we paid $26 for two lattes and two orders of chilaquiles with many add-ons. it was just worth, b/c we had so much rest, we got them to dinner later. $26 for the equivalent of 4 meals and 2 lattes is a steal based on the quality of the food!
I ordered an salad and it was just so delicious, really great price and they put some amazing ingredients and many avocado!
Well cooked. we had gone after, and they were great. many toppings and served in a delicious soup/ sauce
I liked this place so much I came back a second time. The tacos were good, great juices, but the chilaquiles was king of the meny. Lots of options to make it your way. Cosy to sit outside in front.

They then make it. I had their 5-chile salsa (very mild heat), with avocado, arrachera (perfectly grilled skirt steak), and Oaxacan cheese.....and my wife had the salsa verde, scrambled eggs, Oaxacan cheese, and avocado. Both of use raved about our own, then tried each others' and raved about that too! Chilpa is primarily an outdoor cafe.
