Contribuisci feedbackIt is about the only place in all port areas there are two, near where you can see and get really fresh fish, on ice, in a showcase, as this is a fish monster that also expands to serve. Now it is clearly the best fish restaurant in Cuxhaven, not only in terms of fish, but also in terms of the kitchen (there is the funny imagination Badhotel Sternhagen places in Duhnen, but never mind). Really innovative, high quality dishes not fine, but honest, good, creative seafood cuisine. And so I did not take the Knurrhahn from the showcase that really betrayed me as they did, but went for the Loup de mer in a Fancier variant, and I am glad that I did. Beautiful glass of wine along at a fair price, and a few really good fresh oysters I never eat oysters in August, but here I have the opportunity to start it. So I would not recommend how some co-workers do, only the classics here to eat these you can so good elsewhere, and cheaper; this is the place for creative dishes. I then also bought some of their seafood soups in cans inside, as a souvenir, but these were a great disappointment only the paste they also sell with water; no scale at all, i.e. fish soup without fish, crab soup without crabs etc. Nevertheless, the restaurant is great.
This is the best restaurant in the street. The food is fresh, good taste, beautiful products. I came back to visit them. The staff is not always so friendly, but yes, it is Germany. I've been driving three times.
I find this joint really good. Only had positive experiences with the food and the very friendly service. Hearty food, and adhere to the normals such as plaice, or cod, or Schellfish, or sea tongue, but stay away from crabs that are coarse, and sea tuft that is... also rough. But most importantly, if you have the opportunity to sit outside, then eat outside, or your clothes will give you a good memory for the rest of the day that you have been in a fish restaurant.
