I want to like this place since it's close to my house, but I'm going to take a break for a while and go to other Thai restaurants. Hopefully the food becomes more consistent and better if I revisit.
The food was decent. I got pad Thai, it had good flavor 3.5/5. I also got fried wontons. They were stuffed with chicken 3/5. The prices were fair. The service was just okay, a bit slow. When we walked in we had to go to the counter to let them know we wanted a table, no one to greet us at the door or ask how many were dinning. They sat us in the middle and the AC was on full blast(all other tables around were for 4 people and we were 5 so this was the only choice). After a while we asked if they could turn it off. They did for a bit but then turned it back on. I understand why they turn it on since it seemed it was the only vent in the whole place so I'm sure it got hot in the hallways near the restrooms and other areas. Unfortunately we were sat right under it so it was extremely cold. We were shaking and my friend got a runny nose during the hour we were there. We ate quickly because it was too cold and asked for boxes to take the food home since we didn't want to stay any longer. I heard another table complaining to each other that it was cold, even though they had sweaters and weren't directly under it! Also, fyi they charged an automatic 18% tip to our bill. We were a party of 5. I wouldn't come recommend as the food was average and the service wasn't very good, just okay.
Our family recently stumbled upon Chaba, our newfound local Thai haven in Cypress, and it has swiftly become a treasured find. Right from the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ample parking and the comfortable seating, a rarity in dining establishments these days. But, let's dive into the real star of the evening the food. Chaba delivers some of the most exceptional Thai cuisine we've had the pleasure of experiencing. Every dish we indulged in was a symphony of flavors and was clearly made with premium grade ingredients. One of the highlights of Chaba has to be their portion sizes. Love this place! Since they were in paramount will follow to the end of the world lol
We got take out. It was so hot when we got it home I had to wait for it to cool down. When I finally got to eat my yellow curry and my veggies, they were delicious. We will definitely be going back there again
