Devo's Cafe - Daly City

Starting with the crab meat tomato soup, I found it to be completely flavorless. It tasted like someone had just dropped fresh tomatoes into boiling water without actually cooking them. It felt as if the tomatoes had come straight from the garden and were simply poured into the bowl after being exposed to the hot water. On the other hand, the grilled pork chop soup was overly salty and sweet—though not in a good way. It reminded me more of instant pho seasoning you might find in Asian grocery stores. The pork chop itself was quite bland, but at least it was tender. One positive note: for the price and the size of the small bowls, they are quite generous and come loaded with noodles.

Delicious! We visited Pacifica for vacation and ended up coming here twice. The Five Spice Chicken pho features a flavorful broth with freshly cooked chicken. The egg rolls are simply the best! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The female manager is very dishonest regarding the take-out sauce. She charges for the sauce and includes it in the container costs without informing the customers. Additionally, she secretly adds cash receipts. So, if you decide to make a purchase, please pay close attention to the receipt and don't just take her word for it—be cautious.

Interesting place and a little bit surprise finding Laksa on a Vietnamese menu. Every thing was satisfying but nothing really stood out. Like this chilly evening I would not hesitate getting warm up with a bowl of Pho.
