This was the nearest hotel and had a nice parking lot for the truck. The elections for us were 1 PIZ GARNIE GOGO and 1 FISH CHIP. Good Meal Good value
We stopped in for dinner on our way to Newfoundland. The staff was very friendly and spoke enough English to help us. They were knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which was helpful. My kids loved the spaghetti sauce. My husband enjoyed his delicious pizza, although it was a bit too spicy for his liking. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken rice dish, which had great flavor but was drowned in sauce, making the rice soggy. Overall, I would recommend this place for family meals.
I've been in this food shop twice and was more than satisfied both times. The first time the place was clogged with locals on a Saturday night. The mood was very animated and the waiting staff jumped. Although this is a French city, our server spoke English and was pleased to do so. The food is good. Especially the seafood is fresh, well prepared and served warm. The second time I was here with my wife, but this time it was for a late lunch on Friday. There were few other guests this hour, and our server took the time to explain the menu and conduct a friendly conversation. Again, food was more than acceptable. My wife, who is French, fought with the local Patois, and enjoyed hearing that the server say, Bienvenue repeated instead, de rien for, you 're welcome. I hope you enjoy P'tit Rouet. We did. Bienvenue!
As English speakers, my dining companion and I received some curious glances from other customers at the restaurant. However, our server was very friendly and helpful, despite her broken English. Although I had never tried lasagna with potato before, I found it delicious, as well as the Montreal smoked meat meal.
