We loved our evening at 229 Parks. The service was welcoming and gracious and the food was excellent. This place is such an amazing treat, located near Denali National Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Everything about our meal was extra special and filled with delight.

It took an hour and 40 minutes before we had to eat our first bite, a fight almost broke out while we were there, and the server really had no interest to make us with much less than nice comments for a place that should eat well. We go and the server chases my father in the law out of the door because of his completely reasonable tip under the circumstances. Avoid this place when you can.

Very difficult to get reservations here. You have to call two weeks in advance! They were very kind to work us because everyone is just staff. Food was excellent. Nice for this distant place. Many vegetarian decisions that are pretty good. Desserts are fantastic! And cool connection to our home town Huntsville, AL. Chef 1892 worked here.

One of the best restaurants in Alaska. Excellent food. Pretty surroundings. Warm and helpful staff. The bouillabaisse was delicious. Would have gone back a second night if it was open.

Absolutely loved it! Terrific menu using local foods. Hard to believe such a great place does it so perfect, way out in the middle of nowhere. Meant for the tourists in Denali, too far for locals, but if you can make it there, worth it.
