Lalita Thai Restaurant - DIANELLA

I ordered the beef Massaman Curry which is a fave of mine and i've been lucky enough to enjoy it in so many countries. This is very average, the sauce was runny, and the meat was chewy and hard. Probably wouldn't eat here again.

I visited with the last owners and would even rate it . BUT , But tonight's food was spectacular. We had four lots of entrees from spring rolls,deep fried tofu and money bags...all 10 out of 10 . Then we had chicken,beef and prawn mains all cheap in price yet hot flavour. I also ate the prawn Tom yum soup and that excellent. Why would visit restaurant you may ask. Cheap, convenient to park and special staff with nothing too much trouble service. Do yourself a favour and make it a must try 9 out 10

I ordered online for delivery and ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and curry puffs for the entrée, and the vegetarian green curry for the main. It was okay, it wasn't bad; pretty much the average Thai.The spring rolls and puff were extremely greasy though, the entire white bag that they came in had turn completely clear, making me nervous eating these hoping I wouldn't have a heart attack half way through. Very greasy indeed, tasty but greasy.If you've read any of my other reviews you may start to figure out I am certainly not a fan of Chilli, spices I can take, too much Chilli I can't as I think it way overpowers all of the other flavours in the dish and just numbs the lips, mouth and tongue, therefore tastebuds. So I requested as the options are online Mild, out of mild, medium and hot.I was a bit disappointed that the curry was more between medium and hot than mild, and that the choice of vegetables was limited. ALOT of bamboo, zucchini (which I've never had in a vegetable green curry), some broccoli and carrots. I like bamboo but there was just too much.I wouldn't go out of my way to order or go there to eat, but if someone wanted to go there I wouldn't have a problem eating there at all....like I said it's just the average thai restaurant.'The staff are good, delivery driver friendly and helpful and the girls on the phone were helpful and polite.

My local Thai place. Have got takeaway a few times from here. It is Cheap and cheerful. I recommend the jungle curry and fish cakes.
