Salita's Mexican - Durant

They forgot the salsa, but I didn't really mind because the food was fantastic!

When my husband and I visited this restaurant, it was quite empty—just the two of us there. Because of that, we were seated promptly. The gentleman who attended to us was very friendly and offered us great recommendations. As we sat there, we started reading some of the reviews left by others, which made us a bit anxious. However, when our food arrived, it was piping hot and absolutely delicious! We were relieved to have a much better experience than some of the reviews suggested. We kept things simple with a taco salad and a burrito, but the ground beef was outstanding. I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in town. Also, the salsa we tried was fantastic—real salsa, not some tomato sauce that many places serve. It had the perfect smoky flavor and just the right level of spice.

The taco meat was cold, and the fajita beef had an unpleasant odor along with a grayish film on it. The chicken had a smell reminiscent of fish bait. I definitely won’t be returning to this place; it was disgusting!

Should just go ahead and shut down. I think it still has a small following. The food is raunchy. That's probably a mild way to put it. Surprised it even has above a 2.5 rating. Eat at your own parrel.
