Tokyo Hibachi - Durant

I hesitate to give this place even a single star. There was no air conditioning despite it being over 100 degrees outside. Our order was incorrect, and we had to ask for most items multiple times. They added a tip automatically, but my husband insisted it be refunded since they didn’t refill our drinks or bring our order in a timely manner. One day, I hope people will realize that tips should be earned. Our experience celebrating my son's 21st birthday was simply awful. We had hoped maybe things would be different since we had sworn off this place before, but we were wrong. Please avoid this establishment; it’s always a nightmare.

The service was excellent, and the food was satisfying. The ambiance was pleasant, and the place was clean. I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5.

The food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff engaged warmly with my little grandson, who now loves playing chef, all thanks to Chef Jason! This is a five-star restaurant in every sense!

My husband and I always share our diner because I can’t eat much. Last time we went we were charged $6.99 additional for sharing. The ice machine was broken and someone from our table had to go to Sonic and buy cups of ice for us because the restaurant refused to go buy ice for their customers. The service has always been slow and the appearance of the the restaurant is subpar too. You would think with all the time they had during the shut down they would have cleaned things up. We now go to R Sushi in Durant it’s not the same because they don’t cook at the table but the service prices are better.

Cash only for going on 3 months now. How do you expect to run a business if you only accept cash? This place won’t last much longer. If you have a problem with your credit card machine for this long and refuse to fix it you just don’t care.
