Blend Cafe At Golden Belt - Durham

This restaurant is an excellent choice for lunch in downtown. It's conveniently located right along the BCC route. We had the Blend club sandwich and the roast beef sandwich, both of which were delicious, featuring fresh ingredients and intriguing flavor combinations. The coffee was of high quality and attractively served. While the frozen yogurt looked tempting, I didn’t get a chance to try it. During lunchtime, the restaurant felt a bit too bright, making it difficult to escape the glare. I really appreciated the local artwork that decorated the walls. My only concern was that the prices seemed a bit on the high side; perhaps if the small $6-$8 sandwiches included a side of fruit or a drink, it would feel more reasonable.

The ham, egg, and cheese biscuits at Blend are outstanding—hands down the best in town and easily comparable to the finest I've ever tasted. They also offer Counter Culture coffee, which is, as you may know, absolutely excellent. The smoothies are quite good as well! And let's not forget about the staff. There have been numerous occasions when they have brightened my day. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and I don't think I've ever been served there without a smile. This place is definitely worth a visit!
