Pokeworks - Durham

I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the Matcha Milk Tea. It exceeded my expectations with its perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The Poke Bowl Regular with 2 proteins was also excellent, receiving a perfect score of 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it.

The protein portions were quite small, even with three choices. Additionally, the sauces didn't enhance the flavor much.

Decent, but not exceptional. It appears that the dishes were not prepared with much attention to detail. The crab/surimi salad was minced rather than shredded and lacked flavor, with a texture that was unappealing. The salmon was poorly chopped, contained a large piece of cucumber skin in the bowl, and had an excessive amount of scallions despite not being requested.

Accidentally was delivered the wrong order. Had ordered burrito with double protein instead received rice bowl with different toppings than requested which was ok flavor wise, just not what I ordered. Also had the miso soup which was savory and arrived warm.

I can't believe I've been overlooking Pokeworks for so long! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. I was in need of a light and refreshing lunch after a long day, and Pokeworks delivered. I opted to build my own bowl because I have a hard time making decisions. I went with a regular bowl with salad and rice, topped with shrimp and spicy salmon. I added ginger, seaweed, pineapple, wontons, and aioli and house sauces. It was absolutely delicious! Every bite was better than the last, and I especially appreciated that the rice was warm. This is hands down some of the best poke I've ever had and I can't wait to go back for more. The service was also outstanding. The gentleman who helped me was kind and patient with all my questions and additions. Do yourself a favor and check out Pokeworks!
