The first time we attempted to try them out, we drove all the way to Durham (address stated via google) and got sent to an abandoned building next to a family dollar. We called the establishment and they told usthat they were in Raleigh. Lol after we just drove from Raleigh smh. The second time we attempted to try this restaurant, wecalled to see where they were at and they said Raleigh, but they were closing early that day. Today was the third attempt and Icalled the first time, no answer. I called a second time and got hung up on, tried calling one more time and no answer. lol weare officially done trying, we hoped to be returning customers if the food was good, but this is not the case anymore because wenever even had a chance to try them out. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS VIA GOOGLE?if your not in Durham, why is youraddress Durham. We will continue to go to our favorite black owned restaurant in Durham ?Let?s eat soul food? they neverdisappoint !

They set up their food truck at a vendor event I set up at today and let me tell you they had some of the best shrimp and grits I?ve ever had! They were some of the sweetest people I?ve ever met and the food was amazing! I wish my bowl wasn?t so big (not abad thing) so I could have tried more of their food!
Came from NY for the week to visit my daughter and we love, love, love this find. Great food and awesome service, the entire kitchen staff was friendly. Reasonable prices and delicious food...an incredible duo
Original review was written months ago but it was either reported or removed by someone. Below is the edited review. Ordered the fried shrimp, fish, and chicken with a side of coleslaw and fried okra via Doordash. I started eating the shrimp and theslaw first, and they were good seasoned nicely and I liked the sweet touch on the slaw. However, I felt something weird assoon as I started eating the chicken. I could smell ammonia, but the chicken was still edible. However, the fish was definitelycooked with rotten fish, and I couldn?t get the strong ammonia smell off of my mouth for quite a long time. I don?t know howthey could not have noticed that, but If you want to get fried seafood with fresh ingredients, I would recommend someplace else.Price here may be low, but it is definitely not worth risking your health. Reply to the owner's response. First of all, as Ihave clearly mentioned in my review, I didn't claim that you removed the review. I am clearly aware of how the review systemworks, and the only way it could be invisible to the public without my intervention would be being reported by someone (like howyou would just request an investigation for legal issues to google for this review). There were no offensive words orexpressions that would degrade the integrity of my review, so it seems highly unlikely that it would automatically be blocked byGoogle (via their algorithm). I have also done some research on reviews that have been posted on this business and found outthat a considerable amount of people who left reviews of this place have very few (less than 3) reviews. All the reviews had atleast 2 likes on them which was also very unusual. After writing hundreds of reviews of different restaurants, I have never comeacross a single place where all the reviews had likes on them. Have you checked the reviews of all the other people who leftperfect reviews, and does their location history/timeline say that they visited your restaurant? You seem
