Contribuisci feedbackI would definitely recommend this place for a delicious breakfast, but I strongly advise arriving before 11:00 if you want a great service experience. The restaurant closes at 2:00 PM, and it felt like the staff were eager to wrap things up by then. We arrived at 12:30, and they seated us at 1:20. The waiter rushed us to place our order, and we had only been sitting for about three minutes by that point. After we learned that they didn't have chicken and waffles, we informed the waiter that we needed just a couple more minutes to decide. He gave us a look, glanced back at the kitchen, and then said, “The kitchen is closing, so you might want to order?” It was still 1:25 at that time. I didn't appreciate his body language or the urgency to order. Once we did order, we received our food at 1:45, just 25 minutes before they were set to close. They stopped seating new customers after 1:30. All in all, the food is worth trying, but be sure to arrive early!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service, food, and ambiance were all wonderful. The waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. They brought homemade biscuits to each table, along with delicious homemade jam. The French toast was the best I've ever had, and the peaches and sauce were delectable. I deducted a star because I wasn't a fan of the sausage patty; I had requested it to be spiced well, but it was a bit underwhelming. Overall, though, it was an amazing home-cooked meal.
The presentation of the food was impressive, but I don't think I would return given this experience. I don't want to criticize the restaurant harshly, as I recognize that it is a family-run business striving to achieve their dream. However, customer service should always be a top priority in any establishment. What struck me as particularly unfortunate was how the staff reacted when a member of our party stepped outside to cool off. It was disheartening to see the staff writing down names and labeling issues when we were still at the table waiting to pay. While I understand that they have their policies, the level of aggression displayed was not appropriate. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope my feedback can be helpful for future improvements.
If I could give this Diner 10 stars, I would! The space is tiny but so very quaint. I feel like I had gone back in time a bit. It was spotless, and the service was fabulous. The food choices on the menu were as southern as you could get. We received complimentary buttered biscuits as we waited for our food. YUM Remember the space is small, and you most likely will encounter some wait time, BUT you can order yours as takeout. That's my 2¢ now you decide!
Great find! Only place I found on Saturday morning for breakfast next to Waffle House or ihop. If you want a boring Americana breakfast, you probably won? Hearty and rich textures and unique aromas. We were asked to scan the menu on arrival, so that I imagine that your menu will rotate regularly. Everything sounded SO GOOD. It was hard to get one. I ordered the coconut honey sriracha chicken and waffles?. My partner got the ultimate cookies and Gravy with duck engraving. None of us could finish our records. Great place to recharge for daily drinking or long adventures. In any case, will return to try more food. Add: the location is very small inside. If you are a large group (more than 4), you may need to wait for a table.
