Tidy and quiet food is also good. Nice place to go and have a peaceful and quiet meal.

Had to hunt after the entrance. No sign for parking or entrance. You have to say the food was excellent. Some foods I had not seen on other menus....

After a lot of great experiences at the old colliery it soon became our family’s favourite place to eat! Until last night!!! After waiting 20 minutes without being approached for drinks my partner ordered them at the bar. After waiting yet another 45 minutes, our food arrived only to be given a wrong meal and food items missing from other plates. So we got all of that sorted to then finally sit down to our meals to find hairs in my coleslaw!! Yet another complaint and they couldn’t accept the fact there was hairs on the food and I was lying!! By this point I had 3 very upset, hungry kids and my anxiety was through the roof!!! I was so upset I just wanted out the place! Really, really disappointed after our experience last night
