I ordered the yukaejang and was shocked at the lack of flavor it tasted like spicy oil with bits of shredded meat. I usually stop by the food court after shopping to grab bubble tea and never really see anyone ordering here with good reason.
This place is located at the Food Court inside Lotte Market. I stopped by to order takeout for Shrimp Fried Rice and Ja-Jang-Myron. The noodle is great but the fried rice is nothing special. It is kind of pricy for a food court. Definitely not coming back for revisit!
I really wanted to love this place.. got dumplings, jjajang and jjampong. Dumplings were good. Jjajang and jjampong were pretty bad. Their noodles have no chew and falls apart. Probably the worst version of both I've ever had. :
This place opened during the pandemic and I happened to see the grand opening while shopping at lotte. They only had the OG items on the menu and I ordered the jampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and ja jang myun (black bean noodles) they were both delicious, good portion and tasted fresh. The seafood noodle had a good amount of seafood that doesn't make feel ripped off like other places and the spiciness of the soup was great. The broth did not taste water down and had a deep seafood flavor. The JJM was goooood. Excited to have another a Chinese Korean restaurant in the area.
Came in for stir fried hot pot but now there's a new restaurant in its place.Tried the champpong, my go to is usually Jajangmyeon but because it was cold I went for the soup based noodle. Soup was amazing! Enough spice and flavorful. Will be coming back for sure. You can dine in after you [grocery] shop, but make sure to go all the way in the back, it's pretty hidden.
