He had a bad attitude, argued with us over our drink order, really acted like we were bothering him. You really can't charge $44+ per entree with service like that. No manager in site. Really disappointing.
Got there for Father's Day and they didn't have me in the system. They were able to seat us however. The restaurant was not packed but it was not until I asked about our appetizers we were told the kitchen was behind. We waited an hour 15 minutes for our meals. Appetizers came at maybe 45 minutes in. And this was for a 6:15 reservation. We all know it's Father's Day. That was disappointing. Food was good when it came out. I don't know how weekends are but maybe try the weekday when less people are there.
My only issue with this place was the waiter and the time it took to get me and my party food. We had dinner reservations at 7p.m. and after 25-30 minutes i had to go in and ask the receptionist to see who was the waiter for our table because no one has been to our table.. it took also 30-40 mins for us to receive our food and another 20 mins to receive our dessert. We didn't leave the restaurant until almost 10p.m. which is ridiculous. The waiter was a little snippy at the mouth and could have been a little more professional. Yes, i would come back to this place as it part of the Spa package deal that is associated with the resort.. the food was very delicious and very beautiful place.
Had a nice lunch, seafood risotto for me and crabcake sandwich for my husband. Crabcakes was excellent, risotto have delicious mix of seafood and rice. Serving staff was slow, short of servers. Overall, food was good, nice ambiance.
Disappointed. Where’s the Sad Emoji? Alexandra’s was a Friday night favorite of ours. When seated tonight, we noticed how empty the dining room was. Our waitress told us Friday Happy Hour was discontinued. We promptly left without ordering. Your prices are too high given area options. Alexandra’s Happy Hour appetizers and drinks provided a starter that offset your overpriced regular menu. Glad to return when Friday Happy Hour returns. Keep us posted. Otherwise we have too many other options in the Ellicott City area to enjoy given competitive pricing and comparable menus.
