Small town rizz with your Mom's kitchen mixed in. It's exactly what you think a permanent roadside restaurant is. Gluten free available. No flour in the refried beans or green chile, or Pollo con arroz.

Never will I waste my time or money at this restaurant again. I 've heard the locals say how amazing this place is yet that is not the case. My 1 burrito took 30 minutes but I waited because I heard the beef in the burrito would be worth it. When I finally tasted it they didn 't add the beef at all. The chile was not at all worthy of being called Northern New Mexico Red Chile . Augh. 11 dollars for a been burrito?!? Which took 30 minutes?? Seriously??! I feel like El Parasol stole from me. My time AND my money and gave me nothing but bad service, incorrect and expensive food. I will never come to an El Parasol ever. Ever. Nor will I recommend it.

I have no idea why this is the absolute best El parasol in NM. Being that all the siblings of the family operate their own location, Espanola is by far the best across the board from the Frito pies to the salsa. They do there absolute best in maintaining traditional NM food. Keep it up!!!!

Best tacos. Hands down. Call ahead ..saves a lot of time. I got them on speed dial.

1 Pint of pasole and 2 tamales $17.... Took 20 minutes to get something pre-made after ordering. Arrived with NOONE in line.
