Frudeli - Essendon

I stopped by for lunch and received lovely service. The Moroccan chicken with pumpkin and feta salad was delicious lunchtime fare. The only issue was that the coffee was too hot.

I had a great lunch with friends last week at this restaurant. The calamari was incredible, as were the fresh sandwiches. One of my friends tried the lasagna and rated it 9/10, so clearly we all enjoyed our meals. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home in their cafe, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for lunch, although please note they do not serve alcohol and close at 4:30pm.

Frudeli was recommended to me so I popped in for a coffee... absolutely fell in love with their soy latte!

We popped in for hot drinks on a wet morning and received a very warm, smiling welcome. The hot drinks were served promptly and enjoyed. We bought sandwiches to take home for lunch from a wide selection of breads, wraps, fillings & ready-made lunch fare. The only downside is the concrete floor, which makes the cafe noisy.

The service is friendly and coffee adequate but time to serve needs to be much quicker. We were waiting 30 mins and the cafe was mostly empty I enjoyed the poached eggs with smashed avocado
