We only ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich because we had a Buy One Get One free voucher. After taking her first bite, my wife remarked that the pulled pork we make at home is better. I have to agree with her assessment.
We recently stopped at a restaurant on Brookdale Avenue in Cornwall, Ontario. It was conveniently located near our accommodation as we made our way back to the US from Charlevoix, Quebec, and also close to the International Bridge in Cornwall. The lattes and cappuccinos were delicious, as were the fresh breakfast sandwiches like the bagel with egg and sausage. We also tried the perfect BLT on a croissant instead of a bagel. The place was busy, likely due to the Labor Day weekend, but the service was fast. Despite being outdoors on what felt like a busy Main Street, the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Overall, it was a very enjoyable way to start the day.
Usually, use the Drive-Thru and order the 20pc sorted TimBits and small coffee. This Cornwall, ON location is typical for most Tim Hortons I... no surprises.
You just know the success of Tim Hortons when you realize that there are TWO in Cornwall, ONE EACH SIDE OF THE STREET so that you do not need to attempt crossing the traffic on this major cross-border road! Coming from the USA, one is...clearly visible on the right; leaving Canada, the restaurant is located on the right back a little in the parking lot of the shopping mall. Our last purchase is always two six-packs of fresh doughnuts for home. Canadian maple cream is the lip-smacking must-have, but there are never enough in the display case! EVERY time there has been a shortage, the baker has volunteered to fill and glaze 12 for our order, God bless him! No matter who is on duty, the freshest treats are prepared for us. Now that is service, given with a smile. Try one for yourself, but be warned, you too will be looking for a box-full to go!
