Pizza was marginal and very salty (edible, but not a place I'll return to or order from again due to being overpriced and unremarkable, to the point that chains that flunked the Eugene market like Blackjack Pizza, Garlic Jim's, Pietro's and Godfather's completely beat Pappy's tastewise), delivery service was prompt, and in general the place comes off as being the redheaded stepchild of Papa's, which it pretty much is as I understand. The only truly redeeming qualities are free delivery (no idea about delivery area) and the wide range of toppings.
THIS is the pizza I remember growing up with! We just recently discovered Pappy's after another (and last) terrible experience at Papa's. This place puts papas to shame! Can't wait to go back!
I first tried this place 2 years ago, and the crust seemed cracker like unless you eat it RIGHT AWAY! Much better now. Must have changed the recipe. Good now!!!!
They had pizza. It wasn't great but it was serviceable. The workers were nice, though hapless and not very organized from the way the order came out. We ordered two small pizzas, 2 bread sticks and 6 wings and they all came out at different times, so that was pretty poor. The building was in good repair and inside mostly clean. Incredibly over priced. For 2 small pizzas, 2 bread sticks, 6 wings and 3 sodas the $45 wasn't even close to worth it. One small pizza there costs more than 2 mediums at Domino's, which we now like better than most. We wouldn't likely go back to this place.
