Subo Sushi Burritos - Eugene

We went right as they opened but the staff was great and the food was excellent. The restaurant is attached to the bar next door and I can't wait to come back for a drink and sushi.

I?ve been going to SuBo for a couple of years since my sister first recommended them. I?m glad the Eugene has a brick and mortar spot it?s much nicer in winter weather. The bowls are the best value and a good way to try all the individual components. My favorite is the spicy tuna bowl. Make sure you ask for sauces they have a wide selection behind the counter. Maple sriracha and garlic are the best. If you?re looking for a deal there is an online only deal of 2 for $25.

I tried the Subo in Springfield probably a decade ago, and was honestly pretty unimpressed. I recently gave the new Whittaker location a try, and was really pleasantly surprised. The flavors are absolutely excellent, across the board. The meal was surprisingly affordable for my whole family, especially given the quality. We will absolutely be eating here again soon.

Pretty disappointed about the burrito I ordered tonight. I got the ninja and while i was expecting yellowtail and seared salmon, my salmon was way more than seared, it was cooked to dry.. and the yellowtail was like.. maybe one bite of yellowtail in each half the burrito? My first time ordering the ninja and I won't ever again. Haven't fixed my sushi craving sigh).. don't order the ninja. :
