We sat at the sushi bar and had the pleasure of chatting with the talented sushi chef, Steve, as he prepared our dishes. The service was outstanding. We ordered Spicy Edemame, Kalbi (Korean Short Ribs), Spider Roll, Caterpillar Roll, Dragon Roll, and California Roll. Every dish was fresh and flavorful. The Kalbi was particularly delicious, hot off the grill. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience and a 5-star lunch with my wife.
The only reason I gave them a lower rating is because they were unable to make an Irish coffee. Not a big issue. In the evening, it is quiet, the food is reasonably priced, and the service staff are friendly enough. The atmosphere is a bit inconsistent in design and the music choice doesn't really match the overall feeling, but once again, the food was delicious.
I was here twice. Sushi itself is nothing special. My second time I ordered a knight and korean Tteokbokki. The ram broth had very little to no taste. Not spicy, although it was claimed to be spicy. Noodles were not impressive, they almost thought they were ramen packed noodles. the Tteokbokki was more like soup with rice cake for $14. I had this dish many times before and I never had it so runny and taste was not there.
Order some rugs online and it took almost an hour to pick up when they specified it was 25 minutes waiting. You have both commands wrong: false broth, forget vegetables and no seafood in seafood rays . She called the manager and refused to pay back. It was rude and I didn't care. Would not recommend food or service.
As a business owner myself, I rarely leave negative reviews. However, the customer service we received this evening was unacceptable. My companion and I arrived 45 minutes before closing time to order a few sushi rolls, only to be turned away because the staff wanted to close precisely at 11. Despite there still being other customers in the restaurant, we were not allowed to order. We would have been considerate and left by 11, as sushi doesn't take long to prepare and eat. In our own business, we are always willing to accommodate last-minute customers, so this experience was disappointing. While we understand closing procedures, being turned away 45 minutes before closing was excessive. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
